A VERY LARGE REGENCY WATER JUG
REF: FA1517
An exquisite early Regency period cut-glass jug of baluster form, standing elegantly upon a richly star-cut pedestal foot. The body is beautifully decorated with bold diamond cutting above fine spiral fluting, creating a dazzling interplay of light and texture. The neck features vertical flutes rising to a finely scalloped rim, while the applied handle completes the design with grace and balance.
This superb example of early 19th-century craftsmanship reflects the refinement of the Regency table, where brilliance of cut and clarity of form were the height of fashion. A piece that combines sculptural beauty with functionality.
